My first ink?

I want to get my first tattoo, I think that I want it to be something with or about my wife and 3 kids. I’ve been thinking a mother hugging three kids, and all of them sitting on a pair of open hands, but I can’t find anything cool and i’m afraid of getting something that I will get sick of in a couple years so I’m looking around and taking my time picking one out. Do you have any cool ideas/designs for my tattoo or you know any good websites that I can look at Tattoo Designs? Also anyone have any idea what it will cost? probably a 9″-12″ square tattoo would probably be the size that i would want if that will help with cost.

I’m not getting something fadish like chinese letters or baby footprints/handprints because I don’t want to get something that everone else has.

is there anything that you all share like a hobby or something? me, my brother, and my dad all watch wrestling and its something that we’ve always shared. im not sure if your familar with it or not but he go the hardyboy symbol and put our names around it. it turned out really well and its something that no one else has and it looks really cool. i like your idea. how about getting something that each of them enjoy on a pair of hands or around a globe or something like that to show that they mean the world to you? i dont know, you can always take your idea to the tattoo artist and have them play around with it a bit. most of the time thats when tattoos come out the best because a good artist wont do something that they dont feel comfortable doing or they will give you suggestions if they think they can make your idea better. as far as cost goes it depends on where you go and what you decide to get (i.e detail, color)
