Color scheme Ideas for a very bright, colorful koifish tattoo?
I want to get a koi fish tattoo on my back between my shoulder blades in bright and bold color. The thing is, most koi tattoos are usually like orange and black or red or something like that. Im thinkin I want mine to have many colors on the fish and on the scales itself…not just boring old orange and black. The only problem is that I can’t think of a way to have the fish colored brightly and dramatically with out making it look like a ridiculous rainbow…I want it to be bright and everything but not to look horribly designed rainbow-fish that a kindergardener colored…lol help, ideas please.
**if you are against tattos or anything please don’t answer saying how tattoos are bad and all that. been there done that.
* also I would appreciate if only tattoo artists or people who know a lot about tattoos answer. if you don’t know, don’t guess! thanks alot
My koi is on my 360 page if you want to look. Its colors are light oranges, yellows, a bit of red, white, and maybe a little pink here and there. If you go to a good artist, he/she should be able to use light colors that normally belong on koi fish instead of doing the harsh orange, red, and black. I think it’s the yellow in mine that really makes it more vibrant and girly.
